Wananchi Festival is a free ticketed live music event that focuses to mobilize and educate citizens to campaign for citizens, governments, local leaders, International Organizations, businesses and individuals so as to increase their actions and commitment in the fight against extreme poverty and promotes justice and equality for all. It is the concert with purpose beyond the love of music — it will be a rallying cry to African leaders to make commitments to eradicate poverty and unleash opportunities potential for all.
It is also a platform that focuses to educate citizens on global citizenship and SDGs to enable taking reasonable action.
Wananchi Festival Stages, will provide governments and business leaders, NGOs, Embassies an opportunity to make calls of actions, commitments and announcements which are set to affect the lives of millions of people and end extreme poverty in our generation in the country.
We considers that when the committed citizens come together, and make their action in social media, phones calls and letters, it can influence the government, businesses, and NGOs all play their part. A better world is ours for the making.
